I have lived for four+ years at The Legend in Waco, TX. During those years, I have never had anyone here be rude to me, starting ... with the staff and maintenance team. Collin T. was just here; and not only did he fix a small problem with my code-access frontdoor, but he and I also had a good visit. He as well as the entire Legend team always go out of their way to answer any questions or resolve any problems – no matter how small they might seem. The way that The Legend has been configured, we enter our apartments through a well-lighted space so that people who do shift work always feel safe 24-hrs. a day. The entire apartment complex is gated for added safety. The apartments themselves have many safety alarms, very durable carpet, porcelain bathroom sinks, stainless steel kitchen sink, large washer/dryer, excellent dishwasher, vented stove, adjustable venetian blinds, super-large pantry, closets, coat closet, clean/repainted walls, easy-to-clean laminate flooring, lovely patio, outdoor dog spaces, ADA walkways with railings, lovely hospitality room in the main office area, indoor gymnasium, beautiful and well-sanitized swimming pool area, garages, covered parking places, and gorgeous landscaping with many types of bushes and blooming flowers. We have a feeling of community here, and The Legend management team plans various activities for the enjoyment of people of all ages (e.g., food trucks, holiday activities, games, outdoor movie nights, etc.). I am very thankful for The Legend and feel safe in this friendly environment that the management has worked so hard to establish and maintain. The maintenance team and office staff (as busy as they are) even take the time to wave as they zip around the complex going from place to place to do their jobs. I’ve had a wonderful experience living at this property! The community is well-maintained, quiet, and truly feels like home. ... The management team is always professional, friendly, and quick to respond to any questions or requests. They go above and beyond to make sure residents feel valued and cared for. The maintenance staff deserves special recognition as well — they are prompt, knowledgeable, and always courteous. Any issue I’ve had was handled quickly and efficiently, with great attention to detail. It gives me peace of mind knowing the property is so well taken care of. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with both the property itself and the people who manage and maintain it. As a five year resident of The Legend, I enjoy the atmosphere and the amenities. Any maintenance issues have been few but ... quickly solved by maintenance. I have lived at The Legend for almost three years now, and I continue to feel blessed by living in such a wonderful apartment ... complex. Whenever I need any maintenance or even have a question about something, I can contact the management and/or maintenance workers; and they always meet my needs with kindness and expertise. The pride that they all take in making sure The Legend is well maintained continues to astound me. They take care of even the little things such as landscape maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of each apartment. I had lived in a house for 35 years and had never lived in an apartment before comine here, but the appliances and attention to detail about the planning of the apartment itself are actually superior to that of my house. I have never once had anyone be rude to me among the people who live here, and I believe The Legend management tries hard to appeal to apartment dwellers who are hard-working and responsible people from many different backgrounds. The Legend team intentionally tries hard to communicate such things as approaching weather conditions that might impact our apartments; they also provide fun activities to help bring the apartment community together.
